Guardian angels ..... true friends

Hey guys! its me shayli. And i had to share about how truly amazing the other two girls who post with me are. First background on me, growing up i have never stayed in the same place for longer than 3 years. before you feel bad, DON'T. i absolutely loved it. It has shaped me to become the person i am today. I have gotten to see all walks of life, learn from them all and love them all. Another thing is that it has made me super close to my family. From all the moving, making super close and lasting friendships rarely happened. I had alot of amazing friends, but moving a year or two later made it a little more complicated for some to stay super close. Anyway : summary: i have never felt like i have had girlfriends who i could see being by my side for the rest of my life, until now.
The lord works in marvelous ways. Let me tell you about how this elite three came together and you will see exactly what i mean. Freshman year of college, i had no idea where i was going to live, so i just asked the Lord to help me pick a place. I chose Wyview. Well little did i know that Chelsea  Baker chose wyview as well.... and so did Kenzi christensen. Chelsea and i were in the same ward but i didn't fully take the opportunity to get to know her. Lucky for me i was given a second chance sophmore year when we got to live in the same housing complex four doors down from each other. Enter Kenzi, from a story they will have to tell  they decided to live together. So all three of us at Belmont. The lord allowed Kenzi to be my visiting teacher and we became friends. Then from there i got to know Chelsea so much better and was inspired to ask them about living situations for junior year... and here we are. I am know rooming with two of the most amazing people i know. Two people who continually keep in touch and keep our friendship going no matter where any of us are.  They are angels in my life, who lift me up through texts, phone calls, skype dates and blog posts.Love them oh so much and can not wait to meet up with them in August and reunite the Elite three. LOVE YOU GUYS!

Baby Shower Anyone?

Here I be, sassy as a woodchuck and twice as handsome ;) haha random? yes. That was the first line of the monologue I performed as my Junior Miss Talent. Anyways--- Things here are going just great! Work has kept me pretty busy. Although this last week was pretty chill, I know the coming week will be more busy and crazy- which is alright by me.. wanna know why? More money! hehe

Y'all are probably wondering about the title of my post. Well yesterday I was able to attend a friends baby shower. I played six years of volleyball with this friend, and three years of softball. And she is having a baby now!!! It is so crazy!! I am very excited for her! She will be such a great mother! I can imagine being a mother and loving it, but the realization of it is kind of crazy to think about. I look at my relationship with my nieces and I love them SO MUCH! The are the most innocent precious cute beings on earth, and I have to think of myself having my very own little girls that I can love as my own children and it kind of scares me. Its a huge responsibility, but I think that is why its so important to chose to marry the right man, someone that will share the responsibility and hopefully calm a little bit of the anxiety. OK that's enough of a growing up spill for one Blog post!

OH! I met a new friend! I work with her and she is pretty great. I am very glad that I have met her and look forward to getting to know her even better. I love making new friends!! She and I have become workout buddies at a gym and have vowed to make each other keep on top of our goals.. So know if I don't succeed I will have four girls to answer to--- which is scary so I have no choice to succeed! haha I miss Kenzi and Shayli! It is days like today that I wish I could just pull both of them away from life and just go on a nice sunday walk with them and talk about randomness, and laugh about dumb things, and get teary-eyed over small tough things we have to face in this life. I love you guys!! Kenz come home so we can have a skype date with Shay again!!

I have seen the most amazing things and have met the most amazing people. I can't even begin to describe how very blessed I am. This experience has literally changed my life. I'm so very grateful for those individuals who inspired me to pursue this crazy dream of mine. I truly thought I would never be able to fulfill this dream...but here I am, in Madrid sitting in a hostel after an entire day of exploring one of the most gorgeous cities in the world. NUTTERS!!!! Muchos besos...all the way across the Atlantic ocean Kenzi

the adventures of carpet cleaning

hey guys!!! sorry i am a little behind in posting. Life has been so crazy here in provo. i know that sounds hard to believe but provo life is so busy and wonderful. So one awesome story i want to share with you is called... " the van in the road". So for carpet cleaning the machine is inside the van. well a coworker and i were cleaning when the machine turned off we went out to find out what had happened. we turned on the car and we find out the car is empty on gas. haha so we figured we better go get some gas. Off we took on our wonderful adventure. we were like one minute away when we were turning into an intersection and the van just stopped. so here we are in the middle of the road and the van will not move. the best part of the whole thing was there was a gas station with a sign that said" don't get stranded"oh the irony :)  so my coworker ran down the street got some gas and came back. meanwhile i directed traffic and enjoyed that part of the adventure:) anyway life is wonderful. miss my friends dearly!!! as for the goals: money check. Getting fit: procession. blog: officially check

you guys are great!!

Staying Busy in Washington

Hey Hey! This Chelsea, lucky for you it is my turn to post :) a little bit about me: Blonde, from Washington, known for random outbursts of craziness (in a fun way), saying things on my mind, and my favorite colors are green and yellow (--but not so much together, unless they are of a more pastel tint, that could be cute. I have to specify because when I say green and yellow together it reminds me of my school colors in Junior High, it was a forest-y kind of green and a banana yellow, repulsing right?), I love these girls, and I am blessed to know them! I am excited for this blog and to stay in touch this summer. I feel like whenever friends are going to part they always say that they will keep in touch and talk all the time but rarely does that occur. This blog will definitely help us out :)

EXAMPLE: Today-- I was thinking about this wonderful blog and the exciting opportunity that I have to post this week and then I realized I didn't know any of the blog account info (as far as the password and email address). So I whipped out my telephone and sent a text Kenzi's way, a couple hours later the dear woman called me :) It made me happy to see her name pop up as my phone was vibrating, as I answered I was able to talk with her a bit as well as get the information that I needed :) You see, this was special because she leaves for Utah today (She gets to see Shay, I won't say that I am jealous-- but ok yes, I am jealous!) and then to Brazil tomorrow! I am so excited for her!!! I hope she has a blast and comes back to me safely!
This example goes to show that this blog is really good for us, and well good for anyone reads this, who wouldn't want to be our friends (aka become subscribers)?

Alright, so this summer I am working at Yokes Fresh Market for the third summer in a row. I work with some pretty fascinating and fun people. Coming back this summer really feels like I never left for school; not a whole lot has changed, aside from wages and a few newbies. Its a good job and I am glad they were willing to take me back. Ah also- this summer I am lucky enough to be around for quite a few of my friends weddings. It is extremely weird for me so far, don't get me wrong, I am very excited for them, they are all so happy and are making good decisions, it is just weird for me. Anyways, Kenz and I went to our friend, Kassie (no longer Roundy)'s reception. It was a fun time, and oh my goodness did she look beautiful :) And she was just so happy, Her Husband is a great guy and someone that she deserves. It was neat to see them together along with their families. This was just the first of many, I hope that as they come and go it gets easier for me to see my friends get married. They are all wonderful.

Ok wow this is super long, I don't want it to seem like I am dominating this thing so I am going to stop now haha You are welcome to follow my personal blog if you enjoy my ramblings.(http://randommusingsofavivaciousblonde.blogspot.com/) Love you all! Hope all is going well for ya! Please let us (Shay, Kenz, and me) know if there is anything that you need, or wanna hear us talk about, we are here for y'all! Take Care!

Love-- Chelsea
