It's me, Kenzi. And I have the fortunate opportunity of writing the first individual post. Provo is now far behind me. One extremely long 10 hour drive later, and a lot of money spent of gasoline, and I'm back the W-A!! Holla!! I love this place! Nothing beats coming home, it's gotta be the very best feeling in the world.
But before I get to all that, our last night in Provo was a night to remember. To put it simply, it was a night of shennanigans, war paint, wrapping paper, sparkling cider, loud music, videos, smiles, and lots of laughs...as well as little sleep - which proved to be slightly detrimental the following day while driving. It was a fantastic way to end a school year.
Now I am home, and like I said, nothing beats coming home. There's the hugs and smiles, the help of unpacking, and everyone wants to talk to you. Then all that passes. And there's the question...What in the world am I going to do with my life? My two lovely parents have thoughtfully solved that problem for me. I lovingly call it "Operation Cinderella". Each of my lovely parents have created a chore wish list...just for yours truly. Am I blessed, or what? First task: painting the downstairs bedroom. Status of said task...not done...not even close. But luckily I have all summer, that should make my mother happy :)
In other news, there is only 15 days until this chica takes off on my grand adventure. Some like to call it a study abroad, I prefer the phrase "trip of a lifetime". I mean who gets to travel to Brazil, Argentina, Portugal, and Spain in one round? Oh, that's right, I DO!! And in case you are wondering - I am BEYOND excited!!
Muchos besos,
Kenzi
